Altogether Care 'Food for Life Festival'

The Altogether Care Group hosted their second annual Food for Life Festival at Steepleton Manor near Weymouth in July. The event featured celebrity chef Steven Saunders, the man behind "Ready Steady Cook", champion of organic food and cookery impresario.

The theme was “Glorious Local Produce” and the event boasted exhibitors including organic meats, wholefoods, locally grown plants, local beer and a variety of local caterers.

Steven Saunders presented the Altogether Care Group's staff awards and judged the "Ugliest Vegetable" competition. Other attractions included a stilt walker, bouncy castle, live music and an organic beer tent.

Remo promoted the event to key local media and friends and family of the Group's staff and residents were invaluable for word of mouth promotion.

The event's reputation continues to grow year on year with the success of the 2007 event building on last year's which featured live cookery demonstrations by celebrity chef Nancy Lam.
