Hertz Car Rental became a Remo client in 2005, and with their new recruitment strategy in place we have created exciting new campaigns to attract everything from Quality Inspectors to Customer Courtesy Drivers. Recruitment Branding Remo was able to define a recruitment brand for Hertz by extending their logo with the tag line "We're right behind you" - playing on both the hire car and driving connotations and building a supportive employer brand. Our recruitment adverts playfully get across the message that there's more to working at Hertz than you perhaps would think, using surprised faces with great photography and clever copy.
During the summer of 2005 we devised and implemented a unique graduate campaign - including a run in the Guardian, a presence on Doctorjob.com and their very own graduate microsite www.choosehertz.co.uk. Successful in attracting over 140 responses for the Graduate Management Scheme, Hertz has recruited a team of great graduates all aspiring to take the rental car market by storm.
Hertz Employee Newsletter Looking at the Hertz Employee Newsletter Remo identified an opportunity to challenge the existing approach (having redefined their employee brand) and create a more friendly, upbeat and participative newsletter. Alison Heaney Training Administrator, for Hertz (UK) Limited commented: "I have been working with the Remo team for quite a few months on our employee Newsletter. They are a very friendly and professional team who always try to accommodate me on the tight, sometimes unrealistic deadlines they are given! We have changed from a stuffy format to a more modern approach thanks to the team. It was even welcomed by the Senior Management! The newsletters for me are stress free now thanks to Remo."
