Skilled Operators Campaign
With increased
demand for their contact lenses, Ocular Sciences needed to recruit a
considerable number of staff and with a degree of urgency. Two recruitment
open days were planned, with remo providing the strategic thinking behind
the days, as well as the creative execution and media planning. We created
and placed campaign ads in local press, displayed posters at Employment
Agencies offices, blanketed the target areas with radio commercials
and followed the recruitment days with a public relations campaign.
The campaign was deemed a major success, with the recruitment days attracting
in excess of 700 applicants.
The open
day advertisement, pictured below, was designed to lead into an ongoing
recruitment campaign for 2002, several of which are also pictured.
